The individuality and the possibility of self-efficacy of the child are central to us at the Kita Appenzellerstrasse. We offer age-homogeneous groups so that we can respond to the individual developmental steps of the children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a large house in Basel-Stadt, we address - through diverse spaces and offerings - this individuality and allow the children to experiment and develop freely. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this purpose, we use, among other things, the various educational rooms (creative studio, workroom, role play and construction room) as well as our large garden with pool. Once a week we offer a forest day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We practice open and transparent communication with parents in our daily interactions. The cooperation, which is based on a trusting and cooperative relationship, has a positive effect on the child's development. The pedagogical concept of familea is oriented in such a way that each child can develop his or her social competence, personal responsibility and autonomy in an age-appropriate manner through free play and group activities. The pedagogical work is based on the methodology of the education and learning stories (BULG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
