Social pedagogy HF / FH

As a social pedagogy specialist HF / FH at familea, you will work in the Lindenberg youth hostel, the Im Vogelsang transit home, in one of the decentralized residential groups or in the support of foster families.

A high level of social skills, the ability to work in a team, flexibility and resilience are essential.

Your ability to provide creative and responsible care and your willingness to work shifts and go to camp will make a significant contribution to supporting the children and young people.

These are your tasks:
Care and support for schoolchildren and young people from difficult social backgrounds using the caregiver principle
Close cooperation with the specialists involved (school, therapy, etc.).
Regular discussions with family members, referring authorities and legal representatives accompanying the case
Reflecting on development processes, agreeing objectives and discussing conflicts in individual and group meetings
Creating reports and taking on administrative tasks.
What you bring with you:
Completed training as a social pedagogue (FH/HF)*.
2 to 5 years of experience in residential child and youth care.
High social competence, motivation and resilience.
Willingness to work in a team.
Good PC skills and confident language skills.
Flexibility and willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as well as warehouse work.

(*) In the case of foreign diplomas, a confirmation of equivalence from the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation SERI must be enclosed.
