On November 26, we celebrated the graduation of several newly qualified daycare center managers.

To mark International Children's Rights Day, children at our familea locations are designing over 50 creative chairs on their most important rights.

On November 12, we celebrated 20 people who have been with familea for many years. Each of these stories is unique, but they all have something in common: a lot of heart, reliability and genuine commitment.

November 13 was National Future Day! We welcomed 40 curious young people to 21 daycare centers, who were given a real insight into the varied everyday life of a childcare specialist.

At the apprenticeship fair in Basel, we held over 90 discussions with interested young people about the profession of childcare specialist EFZ.

The Oberwilerstrasse residential group has redesigned its exterior wall together with ARTWITHUS. The result is a colorful graffiti that makes creativity, community and joie de vivre visible - for the young people and the entire neighborhood.

Our care specialists Aylin Kayhan and Anna Séquin made an impressive showing at SwissSkills in Bern - we are proud of their commitment and congratulate them warmly.

On Saturday, September 13, 2025 we celebrate 75 years of Kita Kleinhüningen - from 11.00 to 16.00 at Kleinhüningerstrasse 150, Basel. Come and join us!

Councillor Mustafa Atici visited one of our familea daycare centers and discussed early childhood education, integration and vocational training with our specialists. The personal visit underlined the importance of strong networks - and was an appreciative signal for the daily work in our daycare centers.

From June 19 to 22, 2025, familea welcomed over 921 children and numerous parents to the Art Basel exhibition grounds as part of Art Kids - and created a protected, inspiring space for imagination, movement and encounters.
