From November 1, 2024, we warmly welcome the former Familycare daycare centers to familea. Together, we are strengthening childcare and supporting families in Basel.

On October 24, 2024, the familea Center for Foster Children hosted an evening of exchange and dialogue on all aspects of foster care. With an inspiring contribution from Prof. Dr. Klaus Wolf and a lively panel discussion, the focus was on the needs of foster children and the balance between families of origin and foster families.

The familea Center for Foster Children has been running a broad-based advertising campaign in Basel-Stadt and the surrounding area since Tuesday, March 19. The campaign, under the motto "What's on at the weekend?", focuses primarily on the search for new weekend foster families.

At the networking meeting in Basel, foster families and interested parties met for inspiring discussions and a supportive community.
Get together with foster parents
On 22.03.2023 an exchange evening with and for the foster families took place. The ZPK team introduced itself and was available for professional and personal questions and suggestions.
