The small herb pots, which were the main prize on the wheel of fortune, were a particular eye-catcher. Anyone who tried their luck could either take home a little plant with a saying, a pen or at least food for thought - because the sayings on the wheel of fortune also invited conversation.
We are delighted that so many visitors to the market showed interest, took information material with them and some shared their own experiences as foster parents. This resulted in many personal and open encounters on the subject of foster children. By the end of the day, all the prizes had been won - a nice sign of the great interest in our work.
It remains to be seen what will come of this. But we very much hope that this market day will be the beginning for new foster families.
