At the media coffee break at the familea office, media representatives were given an insight into the history, development and anniversary program for familea's 125th birthday.

Everyday life is often characterized by responsibility, deadlines and expectations. This makes it all the more important to consciously take some time out - time just for yourself.

On February 14, 1901, Lily Zellweger-Steiger laid the foundation stone for familea. Over more than a century, her initiative developed into a social organization that accompanies, strengthens and supports children, women and families in Basel and the region.

On Tuesday, December 16, numerous families were able to experience a very special moment. Customers of the women's advice center had the opportunity to choose gifts worth up to 50 francs for their children in advance and order them using a wish card.

At the beginning of summer 2024, a young woman contacted familea Women's Counseling and asked for support in financing her training to become a Wen Do trainer.

To mark International Children's Rights Day, children at our familea locations are designing over 50 creative chairs on their most important rights.

To mark Women's Day on March 8, we are joining forces with Fossil Basel to show our support and appreciation.

From November 25 to December 10, familea is supporting the annual "16 days against violence against women" campaign. We are using a special e-mail signature to draw attention to the important issue of raising awareness of gender-based violence.

From November 1, 2024, we warmly welcome the former Familycare daycare centers to familea. Together, we are strengthening childcare and supporting families in Basel.

From Monday, around 100 children will receive gifts donated by bank employees at the women's advice center. The "eins vo fünf" association and Raiffeisenbank Basel are generously supporting the campaign, which will provide financial relief for over 40 mothers affected by poverty.
